Macromolecular Colloquium Freiburg 2023

Welcome to MAKRO 2023!

Dear Colleagues, Students, Past attendees and Friends,

Greetings from Freiburg and the Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry.

Hope you are staying healthy and are enjoying the summer.

First, I would like to thank my colleagues in the Makro community and especially Profs’. Greiner, Haag, and Schubert for their sustained support of the Freiburg Macromolecular Colloquium.

I am pleased to inform you that MAKRO2023 will take place from 16-17 February (Thu-Fri) 2023 in Messe Freiburg and will be an in-person event. Due to Fasching and space availability issues it will be held one week earlier and will be a 2-day event with both in person and online talks.

We are delighted to welcome you in person at Freiburg after two long years. The mission of MAKRO2023 is to bring us together as a community and the theme is simply “Coming Together”. So, we will be covering all topics that intersect with polymers and macromolecules.

The overwhelming success of MAKRO2021 and MAKRO2022 gives us confidence that with your support we will be able to host a very lively and high-quality meeting. The program will include invited talks, and talks and posters selected from submitted abstracts.
